How I work
Measure, don’t guess
I measure signal strength in every room and check which channels the neighbouring networks use. In Frankfurt apartment blocks, many networks often share the same channels.
The free fixes first
Often a setting is enough: a free channel, the right frequency band or a better spot for the router.
Add hardware only where needed
If that is not enough, I add a second access point, ideally wired or over the existing aerial socket, otherwise a mesh system with its own backhaul. I rarely recommend a plain repeater, because connected over Wi-Fi it halves the speed.
Measure again and hand over
Finally I measure again and show you what has changed. Afterwards you know what is set up.
